REV ROOF TOP TENT X (HELLASTORM) (g2)

The Rev Roof Top Tent X (g2) HellaStorm includes a Rev Tent, HellaStorm style Fly Sheet, bundled with the Rev Platform X (and Ladder).  

The “HellaStorm” style removable fly sheet is built for the most severe weather. The 3000mm PU coated fabric offers twice the waterproofing of the standard "element" style fly sheet and features an additional door layer at the main entrance.  The HellaStorm is for the most hard core of all weather campers.  

  You won't find a lighter roof top tent or a thicker mattress in a roof top tent anywhere.  At 86lbs/39kgs (including ladder) with a 4"/ 11cm foam mattress, the Rev Roof Top Tent pitches quick on the Platform X or on the ground for the most comfortable camp sleeps.    

Improvements to this 2nd generation Rev Roof Top Tent include a new giant main entrance w/ increased head room and a removable fly sheet for warm weather camping and stargazing through the new moonroof.

There is no need to carry a roof top tent full time on your daily driver. Just hang the Rev Tent on garage wall and only mount to vehicle when camping. 

• The Rev Roof Top Tent supports up to 475 lbs / 215 kgs of human; human and dog; human, dog, camp gear; or any combination of the aforementioned. 

* Cross bars or a roof rack needed.  

** The cross bars should be positioned no closer than 24"  / 61 cm , and no wider than 40" / 102 cm. Recommended distance between the bars is 32".

***Vehicle roof and cross bar dynamic (driving) load carrying capacity must be at least 150 lbs / 68 kgs

Included mounting hardware fits all styles of cross bars and rack slats as long as they are no wider than 4” / 100mm and no taller than 1.5” / 38mm

Use with the Rev Room Annex to create a private standing room for changing, showering, or restroom business. 

Add Rev Shoe Storage bags to the Rev Rack Tent for additional storage for shoes, sundries, flashlight, keys, toiletries.

** NOTE: The REV PLATFORM X ships unassembled. This means the Rev Platform X needs to be assembled by you!  All necessary tools are included. Any concerns about this? The Rev Roof Top Tent is future proof. As your camping style evolves, so can the Rev Tent. It's effortless to expand the functionality of your Rev Tent. If you want to camp on the ground and free up your roof - check. If you want to improve your gas mileage and transport your Rev Tent inside the vehicle - check.  If you still want to camp off the ground but get tired of climbing a ladder and carrying the extra weight of a Roof Top Tent, you consider pick-up bed camping with your Rev Tent.  

All our fly sheets are compatible with the inner Rev Tent and can be purchased separately. If you find yourself needing to sleep in (using your Rev Tent at that desert Rave?)  just get the Rev Eclipse Fly sheet to block out the sun for those lazy mornings. If you get a pick-up truck as a 2nd vehicle and want the option to camp in the bed of the truck,  just get the Rev Pick-Up Fly sheet as an add-on and keep it handy for the ultimate in pick-up bed camping weather protection.
